The goal of this project was to accommodate Formstack's growing number of 3rd party integrations in a way that could maintain usability while continuing to grow. The new design incorporated a more visual approach that used categories and large icons to represent those categories and larger 3rd party logos.

Sketches & Prototypes

Early concepts centered around added categories to help better organize the list, but maintain the full-width list format. Through a few iterations, the flow of both finding and adding integrations became easier (and faster) using a more visual approach for organizing integrations.

Each category was represented with a box, large related icon, and text. After selecting a category, similarly styled boxes presented the available integrations. One key change was using larger logos for each integration to help speed recognition of which service the user was looking for.
